SIENA, THE GOTIC DREAM
Siena, the Italian Capital of Gothic, a town by 17 faces. Its tourist poles are without doubt the Dome and the Campo Square. Everyone who comes to Siena doesn’t leave it without to have admired the Duccio da Boninsegna’s frescos or Simone Martini’s frescoes in the Public Palace or those of Pinturicchio in the Cathedral, but this doesn’t mean to have known the town.
The original soul of Siena is that we breathe in the bar districts, where we speak about Palio every time, in the museum and in the quartiers rooms, where every contradaiolo, (member of a district) has a particular remember. The true treasure of the city are the street, the halleys, where Sienne reveals truly its beauty; a treasure which has been lived and lives here can appreciate and understand well.
